Quality Control Inspection with Video Analytics
Problem
- Quality control for defective/mislocated parts on the vehicles are currently performed manually, increasing potential for human error.
- Due to the manufacturing speed, defects are missed upon initial inspection. Additional rework efforts are necessary to rectify the defects.
Action
- Developed a detection application solution system that can verify the vehicles and their parts with classification via state-of-the-art video analytics methods.
- Performed the on-site implementation of the cameras and integration to the existing systems.
