Action
- Microservices Architecture is recommended for Applications architecture and they are designed as Progressive Web App keeping the same look and feel of the current front end
- Applications were deployed using containerization and they utilized AMA’s on-prem infrastructure of OpenShift platform, Microsoft SQL Server Farm and the remaining supporting infrastructure
- The user interface of the modernized application was implemented in AngularJS. Angular Progressive Web Application (PWA) followed Adaptive Design principles to support various device displays. The Angular PWA uses locally downloaded data from IndexedDB instead of querying the live data
- Spring Boot REST API services fed the frontend with the data queried by the user, provided data synchronization for the clients after appropriate user authentication and authorization
