BlueCloud Appoints Sampathkumar Raghava, Executive Vice President, Sales to Drive Sales Strategy and Expansion
Industry veteran and strategic sales leader will take BlueCloud’s sales organization to the next level of revenue growth and market expansion
BlueCloud, the cloud-only digital transformation company, today announced that Sampathkumar (Sampath) Raghava will join the company as Executive Vice President, Sales, a new strategic leadership role designed to transform its sales organization and prepare BlueCloud for the next level of growth and market expansion. With more than two decades of leadership experience in business and technology consulting and services, Raghava brings to BlueCloud deep expertise in helping large enterprise organizations expand client relationships, and design and execute on digital transformation strategies and initiatives.

Raghava joins BlueCloud after a long and successful tenure at Cognizant, a business consulting, information technology and outsourcing services company specializing in Data and AI services. As Client Partner to many of Cognizant’s largest blue chip customers, Raghava partnered with executives in leading financial services organizations headquartered in the Midwest to solve key business problems and drive growth by leveraging digital technologies. Raghava led his sales team to acquire some of the best known corporate logos, demonstrated a consistent track record revenue growth YoY, increasing the company’s net portfolio revenue, and attain a CAGR of 25%+.
Raghava joined Cognizant in May 1998, and in 2009, he led a new client value proposition team that re-engineered the application management solution into a managed services offering. He then led Cognizant’s internal venture capital program to fund new ideas and products. Notably, Raghava launched Cognizant’s Business Cloud Solutions suite which delivered substantial revenue the first year and today contributes significant revenue.
Before transitioning into the role of Client Partner at Cognizant, Raghava led the Data/Analytics Transformation program there, to enable the business to adopt and implement data-based decision-making across various corporate functions. While spearheading this program, he implemented an organization-wide, Informatica-based master data management platform covering 250,000 employees and 40,000 projects, and established data governance across multiple functional areas, including HR, Finance, Administration and Procurement.
